1. GENERAL MANAGER/CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (REF NO. 002)

 
1. Resource allocation, control and monitoring
2. Ensuring effective management of company's resources including
human resources.
3. Identifying details and overall status of the organisation's
projects and procurement programmes.
4. Work with project Engineers to draw up works programmes for each
other for ease of project management.
5. Transforming organisational vision, goals and objectives into
reality within required time frame.
6. Coordinating activities of different project sites along with their
work schedules/programmes.
7. Schedule and track keeping of all the projects.
8. Supervision of tender and contract meeting at top level.
9. Monitoring the general progress of the organisation and reporting
regularly to the Managing Director or Executive Vice Chairman.
Qualification
1. B.sc/M.sc or equivalent in engineering preferably Civil Engineering
with Masters in Business Administration /Management
2. Minimum of 15 years in Construction Management.
3. Must have been involved in the execution of several projects at
least 2 of which must be minimum of $10,000,000 (Ten Million US
Dollars) or equivalent.

The prospective candidate must meet the following criteria

1. Between the ages of 35 years and 47 years.
2. Technically sound and capable of making sound decisions on behalf
of the company
3. Possess strong leadership qualities and be able to motivate
subordinates to get excellent results.
4. Dexterity in the use of basic computer applications.
5. Integrity and ethical standard with passion for excellence and quality.
6. Possess good administrative, public relations and maintenance
skills necessary to enhance overall operations of the company to
ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
7. Firm and highly disciplined.

Salary: Negotiable but very attractive (Performance Related)
Location: Lagos
